The Paso Del Norte Bridge is a stark representation of the close relationship between El Paso and Juarez. Truly a bi-national, bi-cultural metro plex area, the 5 bridges linking these cities are the lifelines for cross-border commerce, students and families. In the year 2000 over 60 million north bound border crossings were completed into El Paso.
The Paso Del Norte Bridge brings northbound customers and travelers from Mexico into the heart of downtown guiding them onto El Paso Street. It is estimated that on average, up to 85% of downtown customers are from Mexico.
